Western Springs Offers Counseling To Residents

The village said it has teamed up with a licensed social worker.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs has teamed up with a licensed social worker to offer counseling for residents.

Social worker Dana Pavlu will be available for short-term counseling, crisis intervention and referral services to individuals, couples and families, the village said in a news release Wednesday.

Pavlu has more than two decades of experience in the mental health field. She has worked with police departments in DuPage County.

For the Western Springs Police Department, Pavlu will offer crisis intervention, evaluation, assessment and emergency response support, according to the news release.
