Western Springs Police Reports: Property Damage, DUI, Warrant Arrest

Western Springs Police Department provided crime and arrest information through Oct. 5.

Someone defaced an outside wall of a vacant business in the 1100 block of Hillgrove Avenue by spraying gold paint on the west side of the establishment sometime during the prior two weeks, according to Western Springs police.

Ninamarie McCann, 35 of the 5800 block of South Edgewood Avenue in La Grange was arrested Sept. 29 at the Western Springs Police Department after she turned herself in for an outstanding traffic-related warrant.

Ricardo Trejo-Rincon, 31 of the 600 block of Laramie Avenue was arrested around 3:39 a.m. Oct. 3 for drunken driving after police found him in a car parked in the middle of the road in the 5200 block of Wolf Road, according to Western Springs police. The officer found him sleeping in the driver’s seat with the car turned off but in drive gear. Trejo-Rincon was arrested for DUI after a series of field sobriety tests.
