Up To $2,500 In Scholarships Available To Students In DuPage County
The DuPage County Board recently opened applications for its Community Services Block Grant scholarships.
DUPAGE COUNTY — The DuPage County Board recently opened applications for its Community Services Block Grant scholarships. The scholarships, available in amounts of up to $2,500, will help students in need pay for tuition and other college-related costs.
Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
- DuPage County resident
- Household income at least 200 percent lower than federal poverty level
- Have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Be enrolled in an accredited college or training program
To apply, students must write a 500-word essay and submit two letters of recommendation, along with academic transcripts and other documents.
