Back To School: Community Unit School District 200 2024-25 Calendar

WHEATON, IL — There are just a few short weeks of summer left until students head back to school. Back-to-school planning has already begun at Community Unit School District 200, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2024-2025 school year.

The first day of school is set for Aug. 14 for District 200 students in first through 12th grades.
Here's a look at some dates to know for the upcoming school year:

Aug. 14: First day of school for first through 12th grade students

Aug. 15: First day of school for kindergarten students

Sept. 2: Labor Day; no school

Sept 27: Institute Day; no school

Oct. 10: Conferences

Oct. 11: Conferences; no school

Oct. 14: Indigenous Peoples Day; no school

Nov. 4: Institute Day; no school

Nov. 5: Election Day; no school

Nov. 25-Nov. 29: Fall Break

Dec. 23 - Jan. 3: Winter Break

Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day; no school

Feb. 17: Presidents' Day; no school

Feb. 28: County Institute Day; no school for students

March 31-April 4: Spring Break

April 18: No school

May 24: High School Graduation

May 26: Memorial Day; no school
May 29: Last day of school

June 5: End of Emergency Days
