Car Stolen From Church Lot, Burglaries Reported In Wheaton: Police
A car was reported stolen from the parking lot of Compass Church and two burglaries were reported in the city recently.

WHEATON, IL — A Corvette was stolen from the parking lot of Compass Church, according to the Wheaton police blotter.
Officers were called to the church at 520 E. Roosevelt Rd. on Nov. 1 for a report of a stolen car. The vehicle, described as a blue Chevy Corvette, was stolen sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
News of the car theft comes after two car burglaries were reported in Wheaton.

The first took place between 5 p.m. on Oct. 30 and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 31. Police say a car was "ransacked" while it was in a driveway in the 1500 block of Brittany Court.
The next car burglary was reported Halloween morning in the 500 block of Devonshire Lane. Police say someone got into an unlocked car around 2:30 a.m. and stole change from the center console.
