Celebrate Spring With Free Tour Of Cantigny Park Greenhouse

The greenhouse is only open to the public three times a year, so this is a rare opportunity to get a sneak peek.

WHEATON, IL — If chirping birds, sunny skies, and rising temperatures have given you a case of spring fever, you'll be glad to know that Wheaton's Cantigny Park is on the same page. The park will host free greenhouse tours on March 6 to show off some of the plants it has in store for spring.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Greenhouse Conference Room at 1S151 Winfield Road.

Bob Carr, who works as the park's greenhouse grower, will lead visitors on an exclusive peek through the greenhouse, which is only open for public viewing three times a year. Carr will share information about the plants he grows and answer questions about the feature flora and spring gardening.
