Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting Set For Nov. 29 In Wheaton

Downtown Wheaton will twinkle with hundreds of lights when the holiday season officially kicks off with a parade and tree lighting.

WHEATON, IL — Downtown Wheaton will sparkle with hundreds of holiday lights when the city hosts its Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 29.

The parade begins at 6 p.m., when it will step off from Wesley Street and head south down Wheaton Avenue to Front Street. The procession will end at Cross Street, with time for spectators to get ready for the tree lighting at the south pavilion.

At 7 p.m., the Christmas tree will be lit to mark the start of the holiday season. The tree will be lit every day from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Jan. 5.
