City Of Wheaton: Illinois Prairie Path Closed To Bike Traffic From Cross Street To West Street

The Illinois Prairie Path is closed to bike traffic between Cross Street and West Street along Liberty Drive as crews continue with construction associated with the Downtown Streetscape Plan. This closure is expected to last approximately 1 week. 

Detour signs are posted directing Illinois Prairie Path bike traffic to use Cross Street or West Street.

Bicyclists riding through the detour area should use caution and remember to adhere to vehicle traffic laws including obeying traffic signs and signals while also riding in the same direction as vehicular traffic.
