Counterfeit Bill, Retail Theft Reported At Ulta In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police recently responded to two calls at the Ulta store on Danada Square, marking the most recent in a string of retail thefts that have been ongoing at that location.

In addition to a retail theft report on Feb. 9, the store also reported that someone paid with a counterfeit bill just two days earlier. That incident took place just after 2 p.m. on Feb. 7.

The Feb. 9 retail theft also took place around 2 p.m., according to the city's crime blotter. Police say a woman took fragrances and left without paying.

In Sept. 2023, shoplifters stole items from the Wheaton Ulta store on three occasions. That August, two retail thefts were reported in one week at the same store.
