The Wheaton Police Department made a number of arrests and handled a number of complaints involving theft, identify theft and vandalism.

WHEATON, IL — The Wheaton Department made a number of arrests and handled a number of complaints over the past week.

Criminal charges are just that are residents are reminded that suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

ARRESTS

  • Rodney Sollars, 35, Wheaton, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. on Feb. 14 and charged with domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Derrick Kellam, 23, Carol Stream, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with driving without a valid license. He released on an I-bond.
  • Pray Lusi, 20, Aurora, was arrested at 2:02 a.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with driving with a revoked license, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transportation of open alcohol. He was taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Sunil Sinzali, 19, Carol Stream, was arrested at 2:02 a.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released on an I-bond.
  • Jaylan Moore, 21, Country Club Hills, was arrested at 9:51 p.m. on Feb. 11 and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He was released after posting $20,000 bail (10 percent).
  • Johnita Wierzchowski, 52, Wheaton, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. on Feb.11 and charged on a failure to appear warrant. She was released after posting $5,000 bail (10 percent)
  • Leilany Jimenez, 20, Elgin, was arrested at 5:37 a.m. on Feb. 11 and charged with domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Courtney Zilligen, 27, Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. on Feb. 10 and charged with driving with a suspended license. She was released on an I-bond.
  • Jair Munoz, 20, Chicago, was arrested at 10 p.m. on Feb. 10 and charged with driving without a valid license. He was released on an I-bond.
  • Deandre Brown, 31, Romeoville, was arrested at 6 p.m. on Feb. 10 and charged on a failure to appear warrant. He was released after posting $3,000 bail (10 percent)
  • Fernando Sanchez-Serrano, 26, was arrested at 11:10 a.m. on Feb. 9 for driving with a suspended license. He was released on an I-bond.
  • Daniella Battiglia, 21, Wheaton, was arrested at 3 p.m. on Feb. 9 and charged with domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Nathaniel Carrillo, 22, Wheaton, was arrested at 2:58 p.m. on Feb. 8 and charged with domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Gabriela Bogacz, 25, Crest Hill, was arrested at 2:14 p.m. on Feb. 8 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, fleeing and eluding and speeding. She was released after posting $5,000 bail (10 percent).

COMPLAINTS

  • Criminal damage to a motor vehicle in the 1600 block of Briarcliffe Boulevard where the vehicle’s automatic steering wire that was cut off.
  • Theft in Sterling Circle where the catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle.
  • Identity Theft in the 1200 block of Hailshaw Court where credit cards were opened using another person’s information.
  • Residential burglary at 3 Wheaton Center where numerous pieces of jewelry were taken from an apartment
  • Theft in the 1400 block of South Lorraine Road where paperwork was taken from a storage locker
  • Residential Burglary in the 200 block of Naperville Road where jewelry was reported taken from an apartment
  • Theft in the 1200 block of Folkstone Court where a resident reported receiving a phone call saying that fraudulent Amazon orders had been made in their name and was told to purchase gift cards.
  • Identity theft in the 1900 block of Brentwood Lane where credit cards were opened using another person’s information.
  • Burglary at 255 Danada Square where the windows of a U-Haul truck were broken and several bikes were taken.
  • Identity theft in the 1600 block of Orth Drive where credit cards were opened using personal information of another person.
  • Theft in the 1200 block of Briarbrook Drive where packages were taken from the front of an apartment building.
  • Criminal damage to property in the 1200 block of Butterfield Road at Phillips Flowers where the window was reported broken.
