DuPage Voters Will see Tax Questions on April Ballot
16 different taxing bodies will pose questions to voters about future funding

DuPage County voters will see referendums on taxes from 16 different entities, according to the Daily Herald.
The largest funding request is from Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200. The district is asking to borrow $132.5 million for repairs and renovations at schools. The biggest chunk of money, $46.8 million, would go to middle schools. Approval would mean the owner of a $322,300 home, which is the median value in that district, would pay about $180 more per year in property taxes.
Glen Ellyn Elementary District 41 is requesting to borrow $24.2 million for facility projects at its four elementary schools and a two-story, 11-classroom addition addition at Hadley Junior High. The addition would replace portable classrooms. Approval would mean an increase of $126 on the property tax bill for the average priced home of $373,200.
