WHEATON, IL — Figure skaters, ice princesses and more will transform the Central Athletic Complex Ice Rinks into a winter wonderland when Wheaton Park District hosts its 2024 Ice-A-Palooza. The event will be held Feb. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids will be able to burn off energy with fun outdoor recreation during the fest and a tent will be set up, featuring games and activities for pre-school kids. Visitors can snack on items from the Curious Crow Food Truck, which serves up grilled cheeses, soup, burgers and other treats. Figure skating performances featuring skaters from Center Ice DuPage will be held at 11:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. At 12:15 p.m., members of the Wheaton Police and Fire Departments will face off against one another in a hockey game.
