Fireworks Planned For Wheaton College Welcome Celebration

As part of its student welcome celebration for incoming students, Wheaton College will be putting on a 3- to 5-minute surprise fireworks display between 8:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25. The fireworks will be near the Billy Graham Center on College Avenue.

The City is providing this notice so that residents are not alarmed if they hear/see the fireworks display, especially those who are sensitive to the sound of fireworks. Please note that Wheaton College would like for this to be a surprise for students.
