WHEATON, IL — Burglars in Wheaton broke a window to gain entry to a home, according to the city's most recent crime blotter. Officers are also investigating the ongoing occurrence of retail thefts in which perfume has been stolen from local retail stores.

Home Burglarized on Muirfield Circle

Residents in the first block of Muirfield Circle told police someone broke a window on their door to get into their home. They reported that "various items" were stolen during the burglary, which happened sometime between 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 13.

Employee Threatened During Retail Theft at Ulta

Police say a man and a woman came into the Ulta store at 112 Danada Square West and threatened an employee while stealing "multiple fragrances." The theft took place at 2:40 p.m. on Jan. 10.

Makeup Stolen from Ulta

A woman came to the Ulta store at 112 Danada Square West on Jan. 12 around 7 p.m. and stole "various makeup products."
