House Damaged After Fire On Roosevelt Road In Wheaton

The fire broke out in the 2000 block of Roosevelt Road Sunday afternoon.

WHEATON, IL — A home was damaged after a fire that broke out in the 2000 block of Roosevelt Road in Wheaton Monday.

Fire crews were called to the scene just after 1:15 p.m. for a report of a fire. Officers got to the scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof of a house. It took firefighters about 15 minutes to contain the blaze.

No one was hurt in the fire, but the house was deemed to be uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
