Ice-A-Palooza Set For Feb. 8 After Warm Weather Postponement

The annual winter-themed event was originally scheduled for Feb. 1.

WHEATON, IL — After a spate of warmer weather postponed Wheaton's 2025 Ice-a-Palooza, the beloved winter event will be held on Feb. 8 at the Central Athletic Complex Ice Rinks.

The festivities will include professional figure skating performances by athletes from Center Ice of DuPage, along with outdoor games and a visit from Rusty, the Chicago Steel mascot.

11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.: Meet and greet with Rusty from Chicago Steel

11:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m.: Center Ice of DuPage figure skating performances

12:15 p.m.: Wheaton Police Department hockey game

Attendees can warm up with hot cocoa and s'mores, or grab a bite from the Curious Crow food truck, which will serve up grilled cheese sandwiches, cherry cobbler and more.
