WHEATON, IL — Lane closures are expected to take effect beginning in late September near Wheaton's Water Division building at 210 Reber St. The closures are likely to last until the end of November, a news release said.

As crews perform work to renovate and update the Water Division building, heavy machinery may travel along the roads surrounding it.

Temporary lane closures may take place intermittently along Willow Avenue, Cross Street, Reber Street and Liberty Drive. Detours will be in place to redirect traffic during the closures, with additional work expected to resume in spring 2026.
