Light Up Wheaton Contest: How To Enter, Where To Vote, More

WHEATON, IL — The park district's 2025 Light Up Wheaton contest is underway, with residents encouraged to enter their holiday lights displays for a chance to win prizes. Houses and businesses in Wheaton that are self-decorated will be judged in the following categories: Most Creative, People's Choice and Mayor's Choice.

Voting is set to take place between Dec. 12 and Dec. 17, when judges will make the rounds to behold the competing houses between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Residents will be able to vote online for the People's Choice award via the City of Wheaton's Facebook page and the Wheaton Park District's Facebook page.

Winners will be revealed on Dec. 18 and will receive a prize and $100 in gift cards to businesses in Wheaton.
