Man Fell on Stuffed Animals at Supermarket: Lawsuit

A man was injured when he fell on stuffed animals that “littered the floor” of a Wheaton Jewel supermarket, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.

Scott Edwards was shopping at the Jewel on Danada Square West in March when he tumbled on the stuffed animals, his lawsuit said.

Edwards was “caused to slip and fall on stuffed animals that littered the floor” of the Jewel, the lawsuit said.

Edwards was injured and “experienced pain and suffering,” the suit said.
