WHEATON, IL — More than 55,000 lights are set to illuminate Adams Park for this year's Night of Lights. The free holiday event will kick off in Wheaton with a ceremonial lighting on Nov. 29.

This year marks the fifth year for the beloved event. The centerpiece of Night of Lights is an animated array of lights at the park's fountain.

The displays are lit daily at dusk. Visitors can check out the festive display through Jan. 5.

Nov. 29 also marks Wheaton's Christmas Parade and tree lighting, with the parade set for 6 p.m. and the tree lighting scheduled for 7 p.m.
