Part Of President Street Still Closed Amid Emergency Water Main Repairs

WHEATON, IL — Closures will be in effect on part of President Street as crews continue emergency repairs to a water main.

During the closure, southbound traffic on President Street will not be impacted.

Drivers heading north on President Street will be detoured east onto Forest Avenue. From there, the detour continues north onto Stoddard Avenue and west onto Prairie Avenue. Drivers can turn then right onto President Street from Prairie Avenue.

It's expected the closure will be in effect through Aug. 17.
