WHEATON, IL — Sweetchilango will close its doors Nov. 1, amid plans to reopen by the end of the month as Bien Trucha. The restaurant announced the change Wednesday via social media.

Per the Facebook post, "This transformation is more than just a name change; it represents growth, creativity, and a renewed commitment to the community that has supported us from the very beginning. By listening to our guests and drawing from our culinary and hospitality expertise, we recognized that a full-service experience and expanded bar program were the natural next steps to make every visit truly memorable."

Bien Trucha offers an extensive menu of Mexican cuisine, including a creative selection of tacos. The cecina taco combines thin slices of beef with potatoes, beans, queso fresco and cilantro-serrano salsa. Seafood options include the atun, fried chunks of tuna and greens topped with lemon-habanero relish and celery aioli.
