'Simulated Gunfire' Expected At Police Training Exercise At Franklin
The June 4 training exercise will also bring a large police presence to the area.

WHEATON, IL — Simulated gunfire and a large police presence will take place at Franklin Middle School June 4 as part of a crisis response training exercise with Community Unit School District 200 and the Wheaton Police Department.
Signs will be displayed to remind residents about the training exercise, which is expected to last from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In a news release, city officials said, "We are providing this notice, so the community is not alarmed if they hear simulated gunfire and see a large police presence in this area during the training exercise."
