Thanks To Snow, Sledding Opens At Northside Park In Wheaton
Recent snowfall made sledding available at Northside Park for the first time since 2025.
WHEATON, IL — When enough snow has fallen, the sledding hill at Northside Park becomes a popular place for winter recreation in Wheaton. The recent spate of snowfall means Northside Park has been open for sledding for the first time in 2025.
The park, located at 1300 N. West St., was open for sledders to enjoy at their own risk, with sledding available until 9 p.m. Residents can bring their own sleds to take advantage of this fun winter activity, but snowboards and skis are not permitted
Before you head out, check Rainout Line to make sure the Northside Park Sled Hill is still favorable for sledding.
