WEHEATON, IL — "It's time to act," reads a post on the Facebook group "Our Pact-A Place for CUSD200 Parents" announcing a rally that will take place just before the District 200 Board of Education meeting Wednesday.

The rally comes after a student was hurt in a fight at Wheaton Warrenville South on Feb. 28. The student's mother told Patch she believes officials are "downplaying the incident," which left her with a concussion and contusions, she told Patch.

District 200 parent Amy Erkenswick, who wrote the social media post announcing the rally, told Patch the rally is being organized by a group of nonpartisan parents.
