Update: Two Brothers Killed In West Chicago Crash Identified

Victor Martinez and Enrique Martinez were both killed due to a vehicle accident in West Chicago on Friday evening, according to a DuPage County Coroner's press release. Victor Martinez, 24, and Enrique Martinez, 20, were brothers and resided at the same address in West Chicago.

The accident occurred on Fabyan Parkway just south of Roosevelt Road. Victor Martinez was driving a 2000 Chevy Silverado, and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:05 p.m. His brother was a passenger in the same car, and he was pronounced dead at the Central DuPage Hospital Emergency Room at 5:51 p.m.

The DuPage County Coroner's Office, West Chicago Police and the DuPage County Sheriff's Department were investigating the accident.

The Daily Herald reported that it was a head-on collision, and that two survivors of the crash, a ten-year-old and a relative of the child, were taken to the hospital.
