WHEATON, IL — A wallet was stolen from a purse at Jewel, a resident's package was opened and other crimes were reported on the Wheaton Police Department blotter for late November and early December.

Police say two men distracted a shopper and took their wallet out of their purse while they were at the Jewel located at 30 Danada Square West. The victim reported that an ATM withdrawal had later been made with their card, along with a purchase at Kohl's.

Package Opened, Items Stolen

Someone opened a package that had been delivered to a home in the 400 block of Forest Avenue on Nov. 17. Police say the items in the package had been stolen.

Items Stolen from Locker at High School

A student reported that cash and a credit card had been stolen from a locker at St. Francis High School, 2130 W. Roosevelt Rd. The incident took place on the morning of Nov. 30.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call the Wheaton Police Department at 630-260-2161.
