Wheaton Park District: Face Covering Executive Order Scheduled To Be Repealed On February 28

The Park District will continue to monitor and update information specific to Park District programs and facilities as soon as possible.

Governor Pritzker announced on February 9, 2022 that the current indoor face mask/covering mandate is scheduled to be repealed effective Monday, February 28, 2022 assuming Covid-19 metrics continue to decline in the weeks leading up to February 28.

Based on prior experience regarding changes in Covid-19 mandates, there is typically a delay from the time the Governor makes a general announcement to the time the new Executive Order is published detailing the exact rules and regulations. The Park District will continue to monitor and update information specific to Park District programs and facilities as soon as possible.
