Wheaton Public Library To Stream White Privilege Documentary For Free

"The Long Shadow" will be available to watch all day Feb. 19, following CNN producer Frances Causey as she traces anti-racism in the U.S.

WPL is proud to be partnering with several Illinois libraries to offer free streaming of the documentary film, The Long Shadow, during the week of February 19-26.

The Long Shadow follows former CNN Senior Producer, TED contributor, and Emmy-Award winning Director Frances Causey as she traces her family’s legacy of white privilege, placing it in the context of the history of anti-black racism in the United States that began with slavery and continues to impact our society today.
