Wheaton Sidewalk Repairs Start This Week
This year's sidewalk program ramps up as soon as Monday.
WHEATON, IL - Kicking off this week is the city’s Sidewalk Program, which will lead to improved walkways throughout Wheaton.
Weather permitting, Globe Construction, Inc. crews will be hitting the streets starting May 1 in neighborhoods south of Butterfield Road. Areas included in this year’s program are shown on this map on the city’s website.
"Residents whose property may be affected will receive a notice from Globe Construction before work begins," said a recent city of Wheaton alert. "The notice includes instructions for when vehicles will need to be out of driveways so that crews can replace sidewalks, curbs, gutters and driveway aprons."
