Wheaton Teen Killed in Crash on I-94 in Gurnee
The name of the deceased, who was Sunday evening just south of the Six Flags Great America theme park, has not yet been released.

An as-yet-unidentified Wheaton male teenager was killed on Sunday evening after a crash on I-94 near Route 120 in Gurnee, the Daily Herald reports.
According to the paper, around 7:13 p.m. the 2004 Nissan driven by the teen was traveling eastbound (southbound) on the highway when it “drifted onto the shoulder and into a fence;” the teen was later pronounced dead at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
One passenger in the car suffered only minor injuries, the paper said.

The northern suburban of Gurnee, near the Wisconsin border, is best-known as the location of Six Flags Great America. The accident site is about a mile south of the park.
