When Is Trick-Or-Treating In Naperville: Suggested Hours, Safety Tips

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville kids are counting down the days to Halloween, when they can don their favorite costumes and head out for trick-or-treating. Naperville does not have designated trick-or-treating times, but families are encouraged to head out before nightfall and get back home by 8 p.m.

Below, you'll find some trick-or-treating options in Naperville, along with tips for staying safe this Halloween season.

Halloween Hop

Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Downtown Naperville

Shops and restaurants will hand out candy as costumed kids trick-or-treat through downtown Naperville during the Halloween Hop. The event is free and includes candy and other goodies.

Trick-or-Treating at Naper Settlement

Oct. 27 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Kids can dress up in their Halloween costumes and head to Naper Settlement to trick-or-treat. Prizes will be awarded for the top costumes in the following categories: Most Creative, Best Costume, Best Family Theme.
