Woman Who Brought Gun To DuPage Courthouse Gets Probation: Report
Suheir Barham, 47, of Oak Lawn, will serve two years of probation for the July 2023 incident, Daily Herald reports.

WHEATON, IL — An Oak Lawn woman has been sentenced to two years of probation after pleading guilty to unlawful use of a weapon for bringing a loaded gun to the DuPage County Courthouse in July, Daily Herald reports.
Suheir Barham, 47, was arrested in July 2023 after her backpack set off the metal detector at DuPage County Courthouse. Police reported finding a 9mm handgun with a bullet in its chamber inside Barham's backpack.
According to Daily Herald, Barham must also take part in the DuPage County Sheriff’s Work Alternative Program.
