It's time to kick off the holiday season in Wheaton. See when the city has its annual traditions planned for 2023.

WHEATON, IL — More than 55,000 lights will sparkle at Adams Park when Night of Lights opens on Nov. 24, kicking off the 2023 holiday season in Wheaton. The festivities also include the city's annual tree lighting ceremony and holiday parade.

Night of Lights

Head to Adams Park on Nov. 24 at 4:30 p.m. to see tens of thousands of lights illuminated to launch the fourth year of the free Night of Lights event in Wheaton. The park will be aglow with strands of lights, animated displays and a new feature that spotlights the fountain at Adams Park.
Night of Lights runs through Jan. 7.

Christmas Parade
Nov. 24 at 6 p.m.
Wheaton's 2023 Christmas Parade will step off from the intersection of Wesley Street and Wheaton Avenue at 6 p.m. on Nov. 24. The twinkling floats will make their way to Front Street and then head east to Cross Street. Following the parade, residents can gather at the south pavilion downtown for the annual tree lighting ceremony.
Tree Lighting Ceremony
The city's tree lighting ceremony is set for 7 p.m. on Nov. 24. The holiday tree will be on display through Jan. 7 and will be lit up daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
