Avoid Robbery, Travel the World at the Library
Here's what you need to know for this Tuesday.

Know: There have recently been multiple cases of ruse burglary around Wilmette and the rest of the North Shore. In most cases, a subject contacts the victim and identifies themselves as a contractor, a village employee or a water/electric company employee. While the victim is distracted, a second subject sneaks into another part of the home and steals. Keep yourself safe — don't hesitate to ask for identification or call the company to confirm their identity.
Eat: Hotcakes has a brand new summer menu! Check it all out (and get a preview here) and don't forget to let Patch know what your favorite thing on the menu is!
Discuss: We're itching to know — where do YOU think the worst place in town for people blowing through stop signs is? Let us know here.
Plan Ahead: Such a fun idea — come to the Wilmette Public Library's Armchair Travels to travel the world in an afternoon. Feel free to bring your own photos (and adventures) to share, or just come to listen. More details are available here.
