Law Broken Eight Times in Five Minutes
Drivers at Eden's Plaza ran stop signs eight times in five minutes.
Hey drivers — just because you slowed down for a stop sign doesn't mean you didn't break the law. Illinois law states that drivers must come to a complete stop at each stop sign (whether or not there's another vehicle in sight).
Patch reached out to followers on our Twitter and Facebook pages and asked what YOU thought the worst spot in town was for drivers running stop signs. Many of you said Eden's Plaza, so we camped out on the sidewalk for five minutes on a sunny afternoon and counted how many cars ran the two stop signs, with a final tally on eight. Check out the above video of just how often it happened above.
We still want to know — where do YOU think the worst place in town is for people running stop signs? Let us know in the comments below!
