School Supplies May be for Sale, but There's Still Time for Camp

Know: Even though back to school supplies have hit the shelves, that doesn't mean summer has to be over quite yet! In fact, the Wilmette Parks District still has some great camps — from flight academy to chess camp — still available. More information is available here. 

Do: Aloha Night is here! Join the Wilmette Park District for a fun night at the Starlight Theater at Wallace Bowl. The Barefoot Hawaiians will be performing. A rain date is set for August 13. Aug. 6, 8 p.m., FREE. 

Do: Join the Wilmette Public Library in a celebration of the end of the summer reading club, featuring ice cream and a very special hula performance by Holly Nagel. Tues. August 6, 6-8 p.m., Wilmette Public Library Youth Department. FREE. More information is available here.
