Snow Removal Parking Ban Lifted In Wilmette

Press release from the Village of Wilmette:

As of 5:20 AM on Wednesday, January 27 the Village-wide street parking ban has been lifted. Public Works crews have plowed all main and side streets and all alleys. Residential sidewalks were all plowed as of 11:15 AM.

Please be advised, the Village does not salt residential sidewalks. With temperatures dipping, residents are asked to salt the walkways in front of their homes as needed to keep the sidewalks walkable, but please use salt sparingly. Over-salting sidewalks is harmful to the environment.
