These 3 Chicago Suburbs Have The Priciest Zip Codes In IL

To determine the country's costliest zip codes, RealtyHop analyzed over 3 million for-sale listings in its database.

KENILWORTH, IL — Illinois' priciest zip codes are in Kenilworth, Glencoe and Winnetka, according to a recent analysis from RealtyHop.

To determine the country’s costliest zip codes, RealtyHop analyzed over 3 million for-sale listings in its database from Jan. 1 to Oct. 15, sorting them by zip code and ranking the codes by median list price.

In the Prairie State, Kenilworth zip code 60043 was the most expensive, with a median list price of $2.35 million, the real estate website reported.

"This zip code rests on the border of Lake Michigan, making it a desirable residential area," RealtyHop said.

Glencoe code 60022 was second-priciest at $1.63 million and Winnetka code 60093 came in third at $1.53 million.

Nationally, Northern California code 94027 in Atherton took the top spot for the fifth year in a row, with a median price of $7.75 million, according to RealtyHop. It was followed by Miami Beach code 33109 in Florida at $6.1 million and Sagaponack code 11962 in New York at just under $6 million.
