Winning $1M Powerball Ticket Bought at Evanston Store

The winner hasn't yet stepped forward. Do you have that ticket?

An Evanston gas station sold a winning $1 million Powerball ticket, though the winner hasn’t yet stepped forward, the Illinois Lottery announced Thursday.

The ticket was purchased at Shell Foods, 2494 Oakton Street, and matched the first five numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.

The store will get 1 percent of the prize — a cool $10,000 — for having sold the ticket.
