WINNETKA, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Winnetka Police Department and the Glencoe Public Safety Department.
Winnetka
THEFT
- Package - Jan. 7 at 1:08 p.m.
- A resident told police that someone picked up a package that contained an iPad Pro 13-inch (M5) 512 GB using fraudulent information shortly after 12 p.m. The estimated amount of loss in $722.64.
- Retail - Jan. 7 at 1:41 p.m.
- A reporting party discovered that an unknown person left a store located at 890 Green Bay Rd. with merchandise they didn't pay for. The estimated amount of loss is $285.
- Residential- Jan. 7 at 2:26 p.m.
- A resident told police that sometime between Dec. 25 and 31 that an unknown person took jewelry from their home. The estimated amount of loss is unknown.
- Lost property - Jan. 8 at 11:39 a.m.
- A victim told police that sometime between 10:20 a.m. and 10:58 a.m. on Dec. 14 someone removed an unattended purse from an Uber. The estimated amount of loss is $2,400.
- Identity - Jan. 9 at 5:25 p.m.
- A victim reported that an unknown person used their personal information to fraudulently open a World Acceptance Corporation line of credit between June 20, 2025 and Jan. 9, 2026. The estimated amount of loss is $2,746.

- Warrant - Jan. 10 at 10:05 a.m.
- A 35-year-old Schiller Park man was arrested for an in-state warrant. The arrest was made after a report of trespassing.
Glencoe
ARRESTS
- DUI - Jan. 1
- A 42-year-old Highland Park man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Officers cited him with disobeying a traffic light, speeding 15-20 mph over the speed limit and DUI.
