Winnetka-Northfield Public Library Names New Director

Rebecca Wolf was appointed the new library director and will start on April 15.

 

Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District Board of Trustees appointed Rebecca Wolf as its new library director Monday, according to the library website. 

Wolf currently works as the Assistant Library Director for the Deerfield Public Library, where she oversees four departments and leads the library’s long-term technology planning. Before that, Wolf was the Circulation Manager at the Lincolnwood Public Library.

Wolf told the library that she’s looking forward to work with the creative, community-focused and forward-thinking library staff to find new and creative ways to deliver library services.

Wolf has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Dominican University.

Last September the board appointed Juli Janovicz as the interim director for the public library district after Tena Wilson, the former library district director for just four months, resigned at the end of August 2012 and accepted a position in Ohio  as the Executive Director of the Stark County District Library in Canton.
