Andy's Frozen Custard Plans Several Suburban Openings

The restaurant will open in Mount Prospect and Naperville with plans to possibly open in Glen Ellyn, Downers Grove and Elgin this year.

Andy's Frozen Custard will open three new restaurants in Mount Prospect, Oswego and Naperville this summer with plans to possibly open more locations in the suburbs by the end of this year, the Daily Herald reports.

The Oswego restaurant at 1272 U.S. Route 34 is slated to open in June while the Mount Prospect location, at 205 E. Rand Road, and the Naperville store, in Naperville Crossing, near the intersection of 95th and Route 59, will open in July.

Meanwhile, company spokeswoman Donna Scherner told the Daily Herald negotiations are underway to open stores by the end of this year in Schaumburg, Elgin, Glen Ellyn, Downers Grove and Orland Park.

Andy's Frozen Custards currently has locations inBolingbrook, Burbank, Countryside, Evanston and Oak Lawn.

Andy’s Frozen Custard is a quick service frozen dessert business. The company is a free-standing restaurant, with drive through and walk-up service windows that sells only frozen custard treats. Andy’s has a wide variety of options from simple vanilla or chocolate cones to seasonal favorites like Pumpkin Pie Concretes and Strawberry Shortcake Sundaes.
