Benedictine Opens Cooling Center to Help With Heat

The DuPage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and Benedictine University are partnering to provide residents with a cooling center and shelter.

The shelter is located at the Krasa Center, located at 5700 College Road in Lisle.

Other area cooling centers include: 

• (3 Plaza Drive) : 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
• : 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
•  (5 Plaza Drive): 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
