A 14-year-old from Burr Ridge was charged with retail theft after stealing a watch from Kohl's at about 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of 75th Street, police said.

Minor charged with alcohol possession

Marcelo Picallo, 19, from 7422 Brookdale Drive, Darien, was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and resisting a police officer following an incident at 1 a.m. in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

Property damage

Someone shattered the window of a business with an unknown object between 6 p.m. July 30 and 6 a.m. July 31 in the 15000 block of 103rd Street, police said.

iPod, sunglasses stolen from vehicle

An iPod and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle sometime overnight in the 900 block Naples Lane, police said.

Soliciting without a permit

Tyrone Fields, 48, from 3424 Giles, Chicago, was charged with soliciting without a permit at about 3:15 p.m. in the 8200 block of Lindenwood, police said.

GPS units stolen

Someone stole two GPS units from a vehicle between 10 p.m. July 31 and 10 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 1500 block of Witham Drive, police said.

Items stolen from purse

Someone stole two debit cards from a purse between 6:20 p.m. Aug. 1 and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 8300 block of Janes Avenue, police said.
