Teen Hides Illegal Ammunition, Kohl's Sees 2 Shoplifters in 2 Days: Woodridge Police Blotter
Take a look at what the Woodridge police have been up to.
The following items were taken form the Woodridge police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Drugs
- A Decatur, Alabama woman was charged with possession of a controlled substance when Woodridge cops stopped her around 10:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of Route 53. Khari Smith, 19, was arrested Feb. 10.
Retail theft

- Ernest Inglam, 18, was charged with retail theft when he reportedly stole $185 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s at 1001 W. 75th St. Inglam, who was arrested Feb. 11, is originally from Schaumburg.
- Another retail theft was reported at the same Kohl’s on Feb. 12. Martha Gassmann, 51, of Westmont allegedly stole $121.75 worth of merchandise from the store.
DUIs and alcohol
- Maya Delejewski, 22, of Bolingbrook was arrested for driving drunk when Woodridge police found her at the scene of a single-car accident in the 8400 block of Woodward Avenue. Delejewski was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Feb. 12.
- Corey Vondra, 18, was cited for drinking underage when police pulled Vondra’s car over for a traffic stop the evening of Feb. 15. Vondra is a Downers Grove resident.
Firearms

- Alyssa Wright, 18, was charged with possession of ammunition without a Firearms Owners Identification card when police investigated her for suspicious activity the morning of Feb. 14. Wright is from Naperville.
Car damage
- Daniel Paskvan, 19, was charged with criminal damage to a vehicle when cops investigated some car damage in the 7000 block of Woodward Avenue the night of Feb. 14.
