Woodridge Police Reports: Trespass, Property Damage, Theft, DUI
The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through April 8.

A theft occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. April 1 and 12:01 a.m. April 2 in the 2900 block of Williams Drive. Someone took a purse and car keys from a party at a private residence.
At approximately 11:27 p.m. April 2, Brad Kielnik, 38 of the 3600 block of N. Oakley in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following the investigation of a traffic accident on Lemont Road at Internationale Parkway.

At approximately 1:40 p.m. April 3, Delfino Solano-Garcia, 36 of the 500 block of Preston Drive in Bolingbrook, and Veronica Alvarez-Camarena, 21 of the 500 block of Preston Drive in Bolingbrook, were each charged with criminal trespass to property after officers responded to Goodwill, 8615 Woodward Ave., for the report of two people shopping when they had previously trespassed at the store.
At approximately 5:54 a.m. April 4, Luis Juarez, 19 of the 300 block of S. Hebbard Street in Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving while license suspended, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia following the investigation of a traffic accident at Route 53 at 75th Street.

A criminal damage to property occurred sometime between 4 p.m. April 1 and 6 a.m. April 4 in the 8200 block of Janes Avenue. Someone threw a bottle at a window of a building, breaking the window.
A theft occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. April 4 in the 1000 block of Davey Road. Someone stole a cell phone that had been left in a restroom.
A criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to property was reported at about 12:04 p.m. April 4 at the camp ground located at 3125 71st Street. Someone trespassed on the property after breaking several door handles that lead into buildings.
At approximately 3:31 p.m. April 4, Mehvish Shahzadi, 27 of the 1600 block of East Street in Lockport, was charged with retail theft after she removed miscellaneous items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.
At approximately 5 p.m. April 6, Brittany Becker, 24 of the 300 block of Huntington Way in Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft after removing cosmetics from Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street, without paying.
A burglary occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. April 6 and 7:30 a.m. April 7 in the 7600 block of Woodridge Drive. Someone went into a garage and took cash from a parked vehicle. The suspect also took several tools from the garage.
