2nd Craft'd Restaurant Opens In Yorkville

YORKVILLE, IL — Craft'd, from Major Threat Restaurant Group, is the latest addition to Yorkville's restaurant scene.

The eatery, from the group behind several Plainfield concepts, including Chop'd, Khaos Brewcade & Kitchen and the first Craft'd location, celebrated its grand opening at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Located at 2075 Marketview Drive, formerly Millhurst Ale House, Craft'd offers fresh food, "enormous" portions and friendly service, Patch reported. The menu features made-from-scratch burgers, sandwiches, entrees and appetizers plus cocktails and almost two dozen beers on tap.

"We aren't trying to recreate the wheel here," said co-owner Corey Knowles. "Our community extends beyond our front doors. We've had our eye on the Yorkville area for quite some time."

Owners teamed up with Midwest Edge Design & Construction for the remodel, chef Eric Ezerski for culinary operations and industry vet Randy Schobert for operations.

"For us, it's all about the people/employees," co-owner Barry Michael said in a statement. "We aim to treat our staff with as much love as our own families. That, in turn, results in our guests being treated the same."

Yorkville's Craft'd will open at 11 a.m. daily and will close at 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.
