4 Shot At Party In Unincorporated Yorkville

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is searching for the suspect.

YORKVILLE, IL — Authorities are searching for a man accused of opening fire at a party early Saturday morning and injuring four people in unincorporated Yorkville.

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office said it received a 911 call around 1:36 a.m. Saturday for shots being fire in the 8400 block of Immanuel Road. Several people were shot, including a man in his early 20s who was hospitalized.

Two women in their early 20s and an 18-year-old woman were also taken to the hospital for injuries but have since been released.

The sheriff's office said the man opened fire following a dispute at the party.

He is in his early 20s and is described as having a thin build, 5-feet-10 inches tall with a goatee. The shooting is not believed to be a random act, officials said.
