Yorkville 'Is A Natural Fit' For New QuikTrip Gas Station, Convenience Store

It's the first QuikTrip to open in Kendall County.

YORKVILLE, IL — QuikTrip opened its first store in Kendall County on Thursday.

The convenience and gasoline retailer opened at 107 E. Stagecoach Trail in Yorkville. The new store is QuikTrip's ninth in the Chicagoland area and 18th in Illinois.

Built for speed and simplicity, according to company executives, the new gas station features 16 pumps, three diesel bays and an "efficient layout designed to move guests through fast."

Inside, guests can purchase made-to-order meals and grab-and-go favorites made in the full-service kitchen. Twelve beverages — including caramel lattes, mochas and hot chocolate — are on tap.

"Yorkville is a natural fit for QuikTrip, and we're proud to be opening our doors right here in Chicagoland," Aisha Jefferson, QuikTrip corporate communications manager, said in a statement. "We're more than a convenience store — we're a place people can count on for fresh food, friendly service and a trusted stop on the road. We look forward to serving this community and those passing through."

The store is expected to bring about two dozen new jobs. Interested applicants can apply on the QuikTrip website. The company says it donates 5 percent of its annual net profits to community organizations, including United Way and local food banks.

Previously, the nearest QuikTrip to Yorkville was located in Romeoville.
